Heard about Measures 66 & 67, but still not sure why we must defeat them? That's why Washington County's Issues Committee is holding it's first Issue Committee event to engage and educate citizens on vital issues and rally Republicans to take action.

This event will take place just days before ballots arrive in our mailboxes to vote on Measures 66 and 67 - the huge tax increases passed by Ruling Democrats in Salem in 2009.  The speakers at this event will explain
(1) why these tax increases will kill jobs in a state that has the 4th highest unemployment rate in the nation,
(2) why they are unnecessary in order to deliver vital state services, and
(3) why, knowing all this, the ruling Democrats in Salem went ahead and decided to raise these taxes anyway.
