If you have a question in mind, creating a new poll is very simple. Formating is automatic, appears uniformally in Arial with consistant size and color.

• Create Content >> select Poll
• Enter question
• Enter Choices, add additional if you want more than 2 Choices (5 or 6 is typical)
• Set Poll Status as Active
• Poll Duration, typically 1 week, to report results the following week
• Publish > Promote to front page > sticky to the top of lists - if you want to increase visibility beyond Poll's permanent home on the bottom right column

There are some challenges - sometimes it recognizes reader's IP address, and wont let more than one person from that IP vote.
